Sara Konforty is an artist, who specializes in interior designs for synagogues, vitrages for private homes,  vitrages for public houses, and for synagogues.

The vitrage in Israel, the stained glass, the painted glass is very popular and has a place of honor in today's designing, in the living art.

The Vitrage is an ancient craft but Konforty added her special techniques and stile to the glass art works. Konforty is producing special vitragesfor synagogues. This 12 Vitrages- the Twelve Tribes of Israel was produced specially for the synagogue "Heichal Pinchas".

 Konforty painted and produced for the synagogue on the 12 windows unique 12 vitrages with a combination of transparency colors with opaque and brilliantly colored glass because of the direct light of sun. There are 6 vitrages in each side of the Aron Hakodesh of the Synagogue Eicahl Pinchas. During the day, the colors are changing and the vitrages looks differently. Throughout the day the vitrages are transformed according to the lighting variation of the sun. In each hour the handmade stained glass has its unique look, charm and beauty. During the day the handmade painted glass looks differently than in the evening or at night with the electric light. About choosing the sort of glass- it depends of the size of the windows. If the window is small (30-40 cm) as the Twelve Tribes of the Synagogue Eicahl Pinchas- the thickness can be 4-6 cm. When the window is much bigger it is recommended to use Double glazing, Triplex, a thicker glass or other special glass. The main goal of the artist is to enhance the glory of the varieties' of the Synagogues with splendor, with unique variations of styles and colors, and great elegance.

Sara Konforty's studio designs to religious organizations,  to synagogues: Vitrages, Aron ha-kodesh- ark, Torah Arks, bima- Teivat Chazzan, Parochet, and other objects d’art to synagogues. AS an Artist, any design or plan to a synagogue or private home, including her paintings, her hand made glass and ceramic, becomes a unique art work. Sara Konforty is also working in collaboration with Architects and designers to synagogues and houses.
